It's so beautiful to see the resolve you have to be better, not just for you but also for your siblings. The sad thing is that in many Nigerian homes, gaslighting has become so common, almost normalized even but I hope and pray you have the courage to forgive your mom someday 🫂
Thank you so much for your kind words, they mean more than you know 💕
I’ve been binge reading your stories, I love it here!🥹🔥👏🥹🥹
Aww, thank you. I hope you stay even longer 🥹🤍
How did i miss this one?
I'm glad you found it 🫶
I love how you write & embrace culture. I would love to see you explore & feature stories from other cultures & world views.
Thank you very much girlie, yes that's the plan. What cultures would you like to see?
Yoruba, Hausa, Idoma or anyone tbh. I think it will be nice to see them infused in fiction.
I love this, that has been my plan for a long time but I'm careful about representation but hopefully, very soon you'll see more of this 💕
Will take a bit of research. God help you!
Thank youuuu
Reminds of the day i reminded my mom that she was the one who talked me into a particular field of study and she was denying.
Denied a vivid memory I still have of a conversation with her that changed the course of my life.
I cried that day, wiped my tears and still found a way to pursue my dreams.
My siblings are not going to know me as the Ada that gave up but the one that set the right pace for them to follow, regardless.
This is a magnificent piece Uche ❤️
